Checkout blocked
When Termpact stops a checkout, the buyer sees why at checkout and in the cart. The reasons, and what to do:
The account is on hold
Section titled “The account is on hold”Locations in Block checkout mode (hard mode) can’t check out while they’re over their credit limit or have invoices overdue past your hold rule. Locations in Send it to draft review mode (soft mode, recommended) can still place the order; it arrives as a draft order for you to approve.
To let orders through: on the location’s page in Termpact, under Temporary overrides, Raise the limit or lift the hold until a date, with a reason. Overrides end on their own. Or record the payment that brings the account back within its limit. See Credit limits.
Over the credit limit
Section titled “Over the credit limit”The order would take the location over its limit. The same choices apply: an override, a payment, or approving it as a draft (soft mode).
Below the minimum order
Section titled “Below the minimum order”The cart is below the minimum for that currency, or the first-order minimum for a location’s first order. If it’s the other way round, see Minimum not applied.
Quantity not a valid multiple
Section titled “Quantity not a valid multiple”A product sold in multiples (“multiple of 6”) has a quantity that isn’t one. The cart message names the product.
Needs approval
Section titled “Needs approval”Orders above the location’s approval threshold need a location admin’s approval. The buyer requests it from their account pages; once it’s approved, checkout lets that order through.
Still blocked?
Section titled “Still blocked?”- Check System status. If order rules are misbehaving you can turn Order rules at checkout off; checkout goes back to Shopify’s normal behaviour within a minute.
