Price lists
A price list holds the contract prices for the B2B company locations you assign to it. Open Price lists in Termpact to see every group, its rules, how many locations use it and whether checkout already has its latest prices.
Create a group
Section titled “Create a group”- Choose Create price list and give it a name of up to 60 characters. Buyers see the name next to their prices.
- The group starts as a draft. Add a base % off, rules, fixed prices or quantity breaks.
- Assign the price list to company locations under Customers.
- Choose Activate on the group’s page. Assigned locations now get the group’s prices at checkout.
Nothing changes at checkout while a group is a draft or isn’t assigned to anyone. On an empty store, Load demo data adds a draft group with 20% off everything so you can look around first.
Which price wins
Section titled “Which price wins”For each product in the cart, Termpact uses the first of these that applies:
- A company-only price for that location.
- A fixed price for the variant in the group.
- A product or variant % rule.
- The first matching rule by collection, vendor, product type or tag, in the order you set.
- The group’s base % off.
A contract price never goes above your regular price: if it would, the buyer pays the regular price.
Group settings
Section titled “Group settings”- Base % off — applies to every product without a more specific rule. Leave it empty for no base discount.
- Rounding — end prices in .99 or .95, or round to .05. It only applies to prices worked out from a % off and to converted prices, in currencies with two decimals.
- Don’t apply to items on sale — items with a compare-at price above their price keep their sale price.
- Minimum margin % — Termpact warns you when a price would sell below this margin over the variant’s cost. It never blocks a save.
- Active dates — in your store’s time zone. Outside them, assigned locations get your regular prices.
- Buyer notice days — how many days before a scheduled price change buyers get an email with their new price sheet.
Checkout status
Section titled “Checkout status”The list shows, for each group:
- Up to date — checkout has the group’s latest prices.
- Updating checkout — a change is on its way, normally within a minute.
- Couldn’t update — one of its locations has more company prices than Shopify can hold. Open System status for details, and move company-only prices into a price list of their own.
- Not assigned — no location uses the group yet.
Duplicate, archive and restore
Section titled “Duplicate, archive and restore”- Duplicate copies the rules, fixed prices and quantity breaks into a new draft. Locations and company-only prices aren’t copied.
- Archive removes the group from every location — they get your regular prices — and keeps its rules. Termpact tells you how many locations are affected before you confirm.
- Restore brings an archived group back as a draft.
